Consistency

I friend of mine, Karen Fries, just told me about a great quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines."

Consistency for consistency’s sake drives me silly. Thus … I really like what Emerson had to say…
